this is a recent game between me and a friend of mine... i thought an annotation of this recent game would help him to know what my thought process is when i play... to eventually help him get better. he has sworn to beat me... im just helping him get there!!!

considering that you were the better player, i would have gone for trading knights and bishops early on. also i agree, you should have taken the trade much earlier, it left you a piece down because you were trying to keep them all 

23 Qf7 is mate, but maybe that's wut you were referring to with the skewer

 then again. things are much easier to notice in retrospect

thanks mitsko...

 i have a nasty habit of playing fast especially against lower ranked opponents when im up in position or points. and to tell the truth, i didnt realize Qf7 was mate untill i went back to annotate my game... i was talking about the rook skewer in particular, but seeing the queen mate makes ALOT more sense!!!
