both sides cautiously maneuvered around -- White was using 2 moves in opening to develop a B ( to e2 and then f3 ) and his knight ( to e2 then g3 ). Timing should be much more important in Opening. White's opening dawdling did not present challenges to Black.
Black took a free gift horse and proceeded to whittle down his opponent. However 26 ......Re2 looks dangerous. White should play 27 Rxf4. If Black recaptures with 27.....Qxf4, then White gains back his piece with 28 Qxe2. Then on 27 Rxf4, Black must try ......Rxc2 ! on 28 Qxc2, Qxf4 and Black is still on top !
You did very well in your final attack -- as your pieces penetrated White's fortress. There was no denying your forces !!
I feel like my level of play in this game supersedes my Elo, but I'm curious to hear other opinions. I am playing the black pieces, so you will have to flip the board. I'm sure there is a way to do it before posting the game, but I wasn't sure how to do so.
