There is nothing wrong with castling kingside.

 

Of course not. I do it all the time. I meant that in the OP's game specifically, castling kingside wasn't a great idea.

Castling kinkside is ok, so long as it is well defended, which in this case wasn't, the dark squares were wide open to exploitation
