What is wrong with this move?

Hello all! I was analysing the following postion from a game by Eugino Torre, and it said that Black's top three best moves are 1) Ba8. 2) Re2. and 3) Re6. In this case I was wondering about the move Rd8. Could someone explain to me why Re2 and Re6 are better moves than Rd8? Thanks!

I think the big issue is the Bishop is hanging. I think that everything besides moving the bishop is just bad. The position is already pretty bad for black imo

Yeah, Ba8 was the top move. In this position, black played 1....Re6 2. Qxc6 Rd8? 3. Nxf7+! 1-0.

I was more curious why the engine doesn't like Rd8 more or equal to Re6 or Re7.
