what went wrong ?

I found this game in a collection of games played last year on chess.com - at the time I was more interested in Blitz and in fact I think this was played at 5/3 time controls. Anyway this might be interesting to show how it is possible to attack an opponent without a queen.

I think I was actually trying to fork my opponents king and queen when I got checkmated.

Great game - I wish I could play like this but sacrificing Queen is not a good choice except for Grandmasters like Tal & Anderssen who kicked ass even without Queen.

I lost (blundered) the queen, there are no moves (g4 was the blunder), I took the pawn to knock out the defense, then ofc the game slowed down - i think the moves would not hold up to analysis but they looked good at the time.

I played a few variations and as far as i could see 34.Rf6+ Kf6 35.Rf6+ sets up a mating position on black as well.
