From here, the game continued with 14.Qxc7 ... Bxc7 , which moves both the Queen's out of the board. My question is : what is wrong in playing the move 14.Qxa8 ? This would win the Rook (and keep the two Queens on the board) and white would be ahead 5points. One thing that I could guess is that probably the Queen might be in trouble after capturing the Rook, but I could'nt find how.
This is a game from 1994 British championship, with Keith Arkell playing as black.
