i worked myself into this position today and couldn't find a way to finish ..

 

what do you feel is white's best move here ?

Nh6+ Kh8 then Qg8+ Rxg8 and finally Nf7 smothered mate!

well i was playing myself .. just messing around .. white had to settle for a draw through repition because i couldn't find a way not to lose material or suffer a first rank mate and had to leave before i could play out the rest .. but i felt there must be a mate for white there somewhere ..

think i'm going to post this as a puzzle .. thanks for the solution alec94x

You would move your knight to f6 for a  check,and a discovered check also!
