Both reallife.com and realife.org were disappointing
Are you sure he resigned and didn't disconnect or abandon?
He had a mate in two. Even if he had to go somewhere quickly it is shocking he didn't play two easy moves to finish off his game. There is the possibility that he didn't see it of course.
Final possibility I can think of is maybe he was scared of your rook battery and your knight eyeing a potential fork and couldn't find a way to defend.
I think he probably resigned because he saw your rooks can take his knight. He probably thought to move the queen to defend the knight, then saw that this would possibly allow a knight fork on c2. This is of course flawed analysis, but it might be what was going on in his mind leading to a faulty resignation.
He did miss Qxg4+ followed by Qg7#.
i played black and i put this though analysis and they all say that white was winning yet white resigned? can anyone explain why? also during the game i thought i was winning towards the end but it white was winning by a lot, is it because he was up pieces? thanks for the help.
