I think what @hvenky meant by hacking is he used a script to find the best moves. But I don't think he was cheating because I almost beat him even though my play was terrible on this game and I was 1min ahead of him. But the topic was why it was a draw, and I now understand.

What @acceptablechadder means is the draw problem and @acceptablechadder should not be reported.
