Maybe it wasn’t forcing, but idk. Send analysis

I think it wasn’t really a sacrifice, chess.com counts it as taking a free rook sing recapturing bring checkmate

Because that sacrifice was too obvious for your rating

"Maybe it wasn’t forcing, but idk"? Seriously?

Yes it's an immediate win. Don't need analysis.

When a move like that results in checkmate in the very next move or an obvious loss, sometimes they seem to break their own rules regarding "brilliant". It's a silly idea, though. Maybe a 399 rating would be given brilliant. There's a sliding scale.

Actually, this sums it up. However, it's incorrect.

Moves like that are not always obvious.

see, brilliant moves are those which are sacs, but also the top engine move.

This is not true. There are many examples where the move is called "brilliant" even though it's not the best move (and occasionally it doesn't make any sense).

Because you had a better move

It's not a queen sacrifice really, even if it didn't lead to checkmate, you'd be getting two rooks for the queen.

Because it's a discovered attack on the queen that simply wins a pawn, and since your knight is hanging, it's considered a sacrifice. I had a similar one—a move that allowed me to win a pawn and recapture the piece, but with check instead of an attack on the queen: https://www.chess.com/analysis/game/live/122775385786?tab=review&tab=review&classification=brilliant&autorun=true&move=26

There was no way they could get two rooks for a queen in this position—if you tried to take the queen or the rook after the pawn capture, you would get mated. I understand now why it wasn’t a brilliant move, as it doesn’t lead to an immediate mate with Qxd6 followed by an immediate check (the only move that doesn’t result in immediate mate), nor does it win material. What I don’t understand is why it’s not even considered a great, best, or even excellent move.
