Why not Be3?

Black's rook has white's queen pinned. Why wouldn't white move its d bishop to e3?

Because after 1. Be3, there is 1...Bxc3+ Kd1 Bxa1 winning a rook for nothing (5 points) vs. queen for rook (4 points)

If you have the engine running right in front of you, why not look at the analysis yourself? It's literally just one click. Much easier and faster that creating a whole forum topic with screenshots and whatnot.

The engine does not offer clear explanations and may be confusing to some beginners
