Won after giving away pressure and a piece

I got to this game after .5 points out of 4 games (all opps a bit less than 2000 ELO), so I was obviously happy to win my first (overall I got 3 out of 7). Thought this was an interesting game, obviously not my or my opponent's best, but perhaps instructive, when you see an obvious move (Bxb4), look for a less obvious but more effective one (Qb7!). Thoughts would be very much appreciated.
