I am only 1000 and have beaten bots much higher than me on this site. I do not think they play to the level they say they do... I play people my same ranking and they make way less mistakes than some of the bots do with higher ratings. I sent an email to the website a while back about this and they said they were going to try and fix that.

yeah in my experience the chess.com bots make random blunders that are often easy to spot. They're about as easy to notice as mistakes made by human 1000 players. At least for me, they start getting difficult to beat around the 1800 level, probably because I can't spot the mistakes higher rated bots make. That is my input, not sure if it was at all helpful

I played him legit, I was able to win coz there was no time control, also I once drew 1700 rated legit person

But, from 1800 rating onwards bots starts playing according to their rating, levy himself admit that in a video, as you can see that people who have their own bots cannot beat them, so he was as good as a 1800. Also, I was able to win coz of no time control

They starts playing according to their rating from 1800 onwards, so any bot lower than him is easy to beat, Levy himself said that, so 1800 bot is as good as 1800 player, as you can see that people who have their own bots cannot beat them, even if they both are of same rating, I was able to wiin coz of no time control.

I'm 1100 and I've gotten pretty close to winning against Li, assuming that's the 2000 bot you are referring to. I've crushed Wally (1800) in the past, but that seems to be my limit.

Most bots are overrated, I'm 700 but easily beat a 1100
