Bizarre coincidence: same game played twice in a row against different opponents!

This was such a weird coincidence I had to make a post about it.  I played a 15 | 10 game against racingdriver, where he made an unusual mistake in the opening that I never saw before.  Then my very next game was a 5 | 5 game against trulpen, and the opening was the same, and he made - the exact same mistake!  I couldn't believe it.

The first game:

The second game:

I have been playing a lot latelly and this has happened to me a lot times too. I think chess.com pads their player base with some kind of programmatic bots. Someone said long ago that he got two games with the same user while waiting a minute between games. So I guess this is an improved version of their bot mascarade

I do not think it is something unusual, it happens sometimes in OTB games too. And I do not think there are bots in online chess.

take note everyone, two people play the same thing (until you deviate) = programmed bot by chess.com!

there are still persons in here that think there are not bots. really? there are infinite number of bots i can insure that. you are finding an oppponent in seconds anytime of the day. you will see them playing a game with already 20 moves one second after you end your game with them. you will see same patterns of playing for 5 straight games and then for another 4 or 5 games. they do not speak to you. and they get unbelievable good when you are going to a higher level to make you feel you are not very good to proceed without a premium account. but once you have a premium account you instantly are winning many games for some reason...it is very frustrating for me

I agree that I don’t think there are any bots in online chess.
