Interesting, but I am not too sure White is playing the best game here. To allow 4 ... Nxe4 seems to me to be a waste of a perfectly good center pawn. And the move 2. Bc4, the Bishop ends up on d3 at Then at 4 ...Nxe4, 5. Bxe4 and White is better off. But in case Black doesn't take the pawn at e4, so much the better. Thye queen pawn still sits back twidling her thumbs in either case and the Bishop can always move to let it advance if need be.

I am still experimenting with this opening and decided to try it against a higher level on the computer. This was a tough game. The computer found a good response to the BKG where after (1.e4 e5 2.Bc4 Nf6 3.Nf3) the computer declines the gambit with 3...Nc6, a good choice which maintains a comfortable game for black. I decide to try 4.c3 as a continuation and develop strategies for an attack. I obtained a surprising win considering I was playing with a 4 pawn disadvantage, but I fought hard in this game. Here is the game for your enjoyment.
