Bot to Bot X

I remember some bots ''working'' for another chess brand in the past, even at low ratings they were doing magic. And there was no ''win the game option'' either... but at least they were not playing at a level  under their ratings. Like chess.com bots do. Anyway, at least some people still  like to play against real human beings better

good job BG!!

Thanks.  Today we've been honored with contributions from GM Kaufmann, a pioneer and leading expert in computer chess.

See game 2.

I'm not afraid of the Sicilian. It just gives me trouble in the hands of someone experienced in wielding it.

It is. It's also up to me to tame that beast rather that hide from it.  If I were a tournament player with a need to win, I might take a different approach to chess but as a casual player, losing doesn't bother me, but the struggle is important.  I also like to defend difficult positions -even though I'm not particularly adept at it, say compared to a computer.  It's the struggle that's so appealing.

I find that faster games lead to more mistakes.

Unfortunately there is no option to use a time control with these bots.

You can choose the time control. Instead of selecting "challenge" just choose "custom", this allows some options including time control. If you leave all the helper options off it is still a "3 crown" victory and essentially the same as the standard "challenge" option.

Thanks. You've enlightened me.
