You always play e6 d5 as black in the so called Sicilian bowdler attack the bishop is poorly positioned on c4 where it can be chased away by pawns. So e4 c5 bc4 d6 nc3(preventing d5) nf6(again going for d5) and the battle goes on

Yes. That is why the Bowlder Attack is bad.

But I like playing French theory more. Too bad I rarely get it.

i prefer a6, b5, c4

90% of my opponents playing the boulder trap their own bishop
