That was not the fried liver. You played the Traxler countergambit, which is a really weird choice if you don't know what you are doing, and you resigned 1 move later. That vaccine shot must have been savage.

As an aside, the fried liver is not something that should appear in any game except in beginners games. It is a variation that needs a beginner's blunder by black (Nxd5).

Yes, after a bit more research I learned about the Traxler . I also realized I may have panicked and yes, the vaccine shot didn't help (my chess game - will do wonders for my survival!)
