Honestly, I thought this was going to be another joke post like the one where some guy drew a picture of Nakamura. If figured that this would be a picture of Nigel's king walking up the board, but no. Well done.

By the way, for those of you who don't know, Nigel Short uses the name "honestgirl" because you can rearrange the letters of Nigel Short to spell honestgirl

I think that in the 2300-2500 range there are a few GMs that play regularly, definitely not exclusive to other titled players for sure

Thank you! It was in the blitz pool! Just searching for a game and suddenly the legend was just there He doesn't abort games in respect to the opponent's ratings which is very classy for sure!
I knew the continuation of 12.a3 Qc7! and what happens if white takes on b4, but I also know that there is a line of 12.a3 d5!? which is suboptimal but I used the idea of pushing the d-pawn through from that given line to this game!
I didn't precisely know the move that Nigel played in the game with 13.Kb1 but I tried to play in the spirit of the position based on the themes of similar variations 😄
