In the first game, 26.Rxa8 Bxa8 was better. White then has either 27.Rd7 or 27.Rd8 Bb7 28.Rd7. In the game, instead of 27.Ng5, 27.Nd6 Rf8 28.Rxa7 is good.

It's been said, but b3 is definately what set your game off on the wrong foot. What an opportunity though!
What about 10. Bxc4 instead of pbxc4? Develops a piece, unless I am missing something here it may have been a good alternative move.
Nice, I wonder how those IM's do this kind of stuff; ^_^!!!
