Hi chess.com. I recently went to an OTB tournament. I finished with 4.5/6, winning 2nd place and $200!

I will be posting game whenever I can. Please comment on what you think in the comments! Enjoy!

So that was the game, it was a long game, but I squeezed out a victory. The time control was G/120 Let me know what you guys think in the comments.

I haven't looked at it in super great detail but on move 12 I like Nb5 much better than Nb3. The idea being to meet 12..rd8 with b4! On qxb4 nc7 wins the rook in the corner. Trying to defend d6 with ne8 allows you to drop the other knight into d5. You're also putting pressure on a7 so the black queen can't wander too far away.

And on move 16 I think taking back on d5 with the c pawn makes more sense. Black's e pawn would be permanently stuck thus killing the bishop on g7. White would still keep a huge space advantage in center/queenside and this ending looks easy for white to play. By freeing up the black e pawn to move with 16.exd5 black can hope for counterplay by mobilizing his e and f pawns.

I agree, my pawn structure would have been better. thanks
