A nice miniature I played today:

The-Michael-Corleone

Here is a quick Greek Gift sacrifice:

Here is another one, first played, too my knowledge, by Greco in the 1600s!
Here is one more, though it oversteps the requirement by one:

... I'd have to disagree about the risk factor, it is a risk. I wouldn't attempt it unless I knew I was playing a guy with little experience.  If black plays dxe5 instead of capturing the queen, the game can be pretty tough for white... a piece down..

Instead of making excuses for a move that loses a piece (5. Nxe5??), why not just stipulate that the CORRECT move for White was 5. h3 :

This is a well known trap. Managed to pull this one on some guy in a lichess tournament.

You missed 14.Rxa6 Qe7 15.Rxa7, followed by Qa6+, winning.

Also 17.Qxa6+ Kb8 18.Qxa7#. Or if you want to be cruel, 18.Nc6+

Just a little longer than a quickie, but not long enough for a full game I suppose. Enjoy happy.png

 King's Gambit miniature

A really sweet game. Proud of the final combination (29. Rg6+ Kh7 30. Nxe5 dxe5 31. Bd3 Kh8 32. Be4 Rb8 33. Bb2 Re8 34. f3 Bb7 35. Kf2 Rbd8 36. Rh1#) and with the way I dealt with the mass center pawns he had. Enjoy happy.png

A correspondence game I played against a friend of mine:

I felt really proud after finding the winning knight sacrifise.

g_moll

Pretty proud of this one. One inaccuracy, and a nice mate to end the game. This game was during a daily tournament for 1200-1400 that is currently still in progress. I float around 1400 blitz but my daily rating is about 150 lower.
