I played for traps here and was rewarded. I don't recommend it, but it has been quite a while since I posted and I don't get Legal's stuff every day.

Barefoot_Player

Not  a miniature. not interesting, not educational, not entertaining, nothing special,. Just give up lord cash - you don't play worthwhile games.

I'm actually very unfamiliar with the Dutch, but I loved the ending to this game mostly because I didn't even realize that I had trapped the queen. XD

Robhad
Had one against the Sicilian that ends up going from quiet to wild in the blink of an eye, courtesy of a pawn storm at a time where my opponent's pieces were out of play and awkwardly placed. Enjoy!

Here is a true miniature (under 20 moves) :

An interesting Bullet game where I won on time. Somewhere I missed a good line in what I thought was a winning position (I had dominating pieces and good targets but I was running low on time so my last few moves were sub-optimal).

I cant figure specifically how to load games on this bastard server, however this was pretty cool. I had about an 8 move combo and what I call a reverse blunder with the queen on a5 I pretended to make a dumb move but I was all for the set up. Once he took my knight, I set up a rook capture/bishop sac. Pretty good for my rating I guess

Sorry I'm new to the blog. So move 13 was made to look like a blunder. Once he took nc3, I purposely lined up pawns at c,d, and e to bring his queen out. Once I saw his bishop come out on ...12, I knew QA5 would bring out the pawn. I had to be patient because of the trapped bishop. Once I got him to commit his knight ...17 nd7, I knew game was over since nd5+ would trap his king in the back ranks

Alright. This kind of trap looks clever but its actually garbage and is refuted like this:

Usually you shouldnt rely on traps too much but thiis one was probably good because its hard to see the refutation. P.S nice username lol

A resounding success for my new weapon against the Najdorf:

Pretty dang nice. My rook feels the pain for black

More 7.Qe2 Najdorf fun. It's a ply too long, but I hope Barefoot_Player doesn't mind too much.
