@nirav,

What is your definition of a miniature?

A game containing 24 moves.grin.png

A miniature is a game ending in 25 moves or less.

To which one may add:

(1) It is not Grandmaster Draw.
(2) It is a game should be enjoyable, entertaining, or educational. Examples of the last may help answer the questions: How does one punish an early pawn snatch by the queen or how does one take advantage of an opponent’s weak point?

It’s a pretty close definition to yours; I was being a little more explicit.

By the way, I’ve written a few books on miniature games. You can also visit my blog at https://gambit chess player.wordpress.com/

(remove the space between the word gambit and chess. before copying and pasting site name. I'm sure you can figure out why.)

@Asparagusic_acids

What was your plan after 9.Qf1. White may just get out of this mess, esp. if he was to trade pieces.
