cxue2010, you really owe it to yourself to read this study of the Bongcloud:

As it rightly points out, no GM has ever refuted it...
This is perhaps the most important book ever written on the Bongcloud. However, I can't believe it still has not corrected its embarrasing error describing the Bongcloud Piano! It rightly assesses the opening as too slow, but it still offers an illegal gambit and mate-in-one as white's best two options.
wait, is the bongcloud actually a strong opening?? Or is it just a joke?
The bongcloud is a very strong opening. I would seriously consider reading the article about the Bongcloud on post 22.
@Pathfinder - You must be incorrect, there has never been a refutation found against the bongcloud in all it's long years of existence. Your friends from chess club are playing an elaborate trick on you.
@Scotchfaster - It is indispensable and necessary for enlightenment in the bongcloud. After all the game was won in the end when my opponent became distracted by queen moves and allowed me to reach g8 unopposed.
