In the first game, I was mostly testing my opponent, trying to see his strenghts and weaknesses, and I really didn't play very well. In a won ending, he lost on time. Throughout the match, my advantage on time saved many drawn/lost positions for me.
Game 1: Robert0905 vs. CP6033, 1|0 rated. Result: 1-0 (Robert0905 won on time)

@Chicken_Monster, it's not a very common one for sure. I actually don't know the name! It's a bit like a hedgehog for the black side.
I'm saving it. I tried looking it up to no avail. I'll call it the Alexander Roberto Attack.
You don't even know what the Albin Counter-Gambit is I see from your King's Gambit blog. :-P
I think knowing the names of the pieces, and their proper placement, is highly overrated...although I got my friend to play me on this site and he lost pretty badly...claimed he thought his Queen was his King and that the Queen goes on the opposite color.

Knowing the name of the opening isn't critical.
Knowing what to do with it and how to play the game once the opening stage is over, is quite another matter.

So much depends on internet connection, lag and mouse, speed of your computer etc.
I'm more impressed with your USCF blitz rating. This match doesn't really show too much (of course I would say the same had you lost).

They have a big advantage lag-wise (we have it on lichess because server is in France). I heard mouse makes a big difference too, but I really wonder what a perfect mouse looks like.
Computer? I don't know what's important here. Maybe that you have W10? :P

I actually do have W10. Does it really make it faster?
Maybe that's why all of my ratings are up from a couple of weeks ago (but wait - I got W10 already in early September...)
