But I i will give it a shot though. I will try to teach her.
Your free lessons by Sebastien Lebel ( SebLeb0210 ) lesson 2 ! :)

Okay, here's my last point. I think this is at the heart of our disagreement.
You think only peolple who are "good enough" should be able to teach. You think untill Seb hits a certain point, then he should start teaching. If some one asks me to teach them how to play chess, move the peices and so on, should I tell them no? How about opening principles? His point was to think deep when you play, look farther than your inital thoughts. Valid point.
You honestly think a 1500 has nothing to teach a 900, which is plainly not true.
You don't have to be an expert to teach! I'm no expert at math by a long shot, but I teach plenty of people about it. Have I told them dumb things ever? Probably, the point is, we learn together. I learn more playing bad chess, then no chess.
I honestly think a 500 has "nothing to teach a 900", however.
Yeah, he's probably not 500, but he's no 1500 either - see for example how he got trapped by FrenchTutor here : http://www.chess.com/forum/view/game-analysis/your-free-lessons-by-sebastien-lebel--sebleb0210--lesson-3
And no, the point has never been that the most rated you are, the better - the point is that the lesson he gave is completely wrong and he refuses to admit it. Moreover, how to call that a "lesson" when there is not a single analysis comment ?
Anyways, I couldn't find a matching picture, so here is one anyways :

No, I was the one who checkmated the ''secret oponent''

Well why don't you reveal? until such time i think he is rated 50, wait, no, i correct myself, rated -50, yez, negative fifty you little turtle.
Ok, try to find 1 member, just one, rated -50. It dosent mean that it is that person. But try to find one

you see, I am rated 1505.
...on chess.com, in correspondence, after 12 completed games.

All of zephyl's were removed.... Now we look like an insane person having a one-sided argument! Did I say 'we'? I meant 'I'! I meant I....
I wonder, did he remove them? Or chess.com? I bet Chess.com did...

Addicted, it is true, I muzzled zephyl for two weeks because of his trolling and spamming. I warned him and told him not to sidetrack my thread and he did. I won't tolerate any trolling in my threads because I put a lot of time into them.

Block him and lock his threads!

Awesome, I will love you forever!

Thanks for letting us know. Now I know that I need to refrain from posting in your threads :)

The power has gone to his head!!! Although he made the right choice...

If it is a personal issue, why not simply block him ?
(This being said, I will not regret him a lot)

I gave him a warning and he provoked me trying to be clever. If he wants to do that in his own threads, it's totally fine but he did it in my thread. Everybody has the right to create a Chess.com thread to share his/her ideas and chess moves with the world without having to worry about a troll coming in and messing things up.
This is not merely a personal issue, but one that challenges the fundamental sanctity of the Chess.com community.
A person like that often has very little to offer once his act goes down. In the following thread, two members reported being harrassed by him: http://www.chess.com/forum/view/off-topic/weirdo
I'm really sorry for those who think I am power hungry but I can't allow such things to occur especially since there is "STAFF" beside my name. What if my employer starts looking through the forums and sees complete trollish anarchy? Who's going to take the blame then?
Chess deserves respect.
IronTiger, of course, it is fine to voice your thoughts: If at any point you think I am abusing my power you can contact support and ask them to reconsider: http://support.chess.com/ I hope this doesn't scare you away from the forums. I'm not here to muzzle people left and right; I'm here to read the interesting topics in the forums and learn.
Wow. This is ridiculous. I read through this whole thread and was ASTONISHED at the amount of horrible insults being hurled at SebLeb.
Most of them came from grown men.
SebLeb is 12. I'm 16. I'm young. I have dreams. One day, I want to teach. I doesn't even matter what I teach, I love working with people. I understand that the lesson may not have been great and there may be some mistakes. Who cares? Do you think he's maliciously trying to deceive people? Of course not. His intent was good! I know what it feels like to learn something new, something that makes sense, something you want to share with others.
Throughout this thread, SebLeb has stayed classy. He's done nothing but try to defend his intent.
As I said, I'm 16. I want to tell everyone who was SHAMING SebLeb one thing: MAN UP.
And to SebLeb: I admire you. Even though you are 4 years younger, you have the courage that I desire. God bless you. Keep posting! Stay Strong.
Thank you so very much ! I realy appretiate it and I for sure think that you will be a VERY good teacher. And that God blesses you and have a great day ! You deserve it
