Your quickest game?

1.g4 e5 2.f3. enough said.
ouch!!!
mine was shorter, i only touched the f pawn at move two as a joke, my friend wasn't in the mood for that, so i resigned :(

The shortest game I know of at the master level was 3 moves.
It was a correspondence game (like our "turn-based" games, but with moves sent by postcards in U.S. mail).
White played 1. d4.
Black responded 1. ... g6, and added an "if" move (like our pre-moves) that said, "if any then 2. ... Bg7."
White responded 2. Bh6 Bg7 3. Bxg7, and Black resigned.

Lost to fools' mate against a kid who would become by best friend in high school. As he delivered mate, he looked up and said, 'did I mention I'm the president of the school chess club?'
I never have beat him in a straight up game....been like 30 years now....

Haha - the refutation! :-) Remind me not to play that against 2. Bh6 next time! :-)

My shortest game was today. 5 moves, nothing happened and then he resigned. Strange. He was new on this site but why accepting a challenge and then resigne after a couple of moves.

Pudjte, was it AYMAN-1974, or some name beginning with ayman, or egyptian boy? If not, was it someone from Egypt?

@ DavidForthoffer: LOL, I lke the story!
My first game here - not only very short in moves, but also in time - 30 minutes all together! I needed 30 mins here to improve my rating from 1200 to 1410 - maybe it's a record?

i read somewhere that joseph henry blackburne once played e4 then said i resign, his opponent held him to it. 0-1
This is mine, please contribute.
