If you think of his extra pawn as being d7, then you're probably not too worried even if he's an extra pawn up in the endgame. The benefit of trading queens is less counterplay against your positional trumps.
Although, your opponent started to get active anyway, for example if 24...Rxc6 now Rc2 and Rf2 with an easy draw, and possibly playing for more, is looming.
I worried from the start whether I will get back that one pawn I sacrificed in the opening for gambit. I did have huge compensation but queens being off of the board made me worried. This is probably the most accurate game I have played so far according to chess.com engine analysis report.
