I saw some players having north Korean flag.
How can a North Korean sympathizer be allowed on this site . (No issue if it's just for fun). But if chinese and North Korean hackers are playing on this site using some kind of trick, WHILE BEING IN THEIR OWN COUNTRY it's security threat to all.
I have dropped a mail regarding this to chess.com regarding this. No replay from their side as of now.

As far as I know, anyone is allowed use the site, at least unless their country says they can’t. I don’t see why chess.com would single out countries, how would you like it if I said (whatever country you live in) can’t play chess?

Bro you can choose any flag you want on chess com. You don't have to pick the flag of the country you're living in. People with NK flags are probably some trolls who think it's funny wearing the flag of NK even though it is not

There were no political second thought in my message. I just stated that I didn't find funny that some people wear the NK flag for fun, and I think some people agree with me on that point. This take is subjective, that's true (as there are people finding it funny, the ones who do it), but I don't say it is inherently bad, and that it should be forbidden to wear the NK flag (or any other flag) for people who do not live in this country. I just said it wasn't funny, absolutely no political statement here

I don't think castling is very “rated”, and even less “overrated” under 500. At this level, it is easier not to fall into a backrank checkmate than to forget to castle imo

Castling is overated
This isn't a hot take, it's objectively correct.
No, it's not. Castling is taught as inherent to most positions. At the very least getting your back rank clear and have the option to castle to either side. It is literally a skill to prevent your opponent from castling.
This is why castling is overrated. I'm not saying castling isn't a useful move, in a lot of situations it is, but if you fall into dogmatic thinking and just castle automatically then castling becomes overrated, because knowing when and where to castle is a skill in itself. Which by the definition includes where not to castle and when not to castle.
So can we objectively say some people overrate castling?
I am sure as a chess player you wouldn't say getting your king to safety or linking your rooks are overrated. Because this is two birds that get stoned when we castle, so to speak. Certainly there are positions where castling is a bad move, or moreso not necessary.
I feel that's fair, if anything I probably underrate castling, I tend to often leave castling as long as possible.
Overall I castle over half of my games in the middlegame (whatever insight says is the middlegame), and I don't castle more often than I castle in the opening.
But that's just how I play chess.
Some video I watched ages ago said "if you haven't castled by move 18 either something is wrong or you don't need to".
