Develop your pieces, premove recaptures, see simple tactics quickly, see their defense before they see it.
Anyone can do this against a player weaker than they are. I think I remember GM Hansen playing whole games in under 10 seconds. I'm nowhere near that fast.

That's impressive. I'll never be able to do that as long as I live. I'm not a quick on my feet thinker like a lot of you guys are and anything but a natural at this game. I need the time to remember all the do's and don'ts and to apply what I've learned from studying over the years. I usually play 15 or 10 min

I know for sure I would leave my wife and the kids if she played 1...d5. I would get a one way ticket to Borneo/Sumatra and live happily with fish.
