a low rating? certainly
however, i came to this site an abysmal chess player who wanted to learn to play quite well. my rating started as 1200, and then in the same day fell to 641.
now, after 527 games, i've finally gotten back to the rating i started at, and some change. i know i still have an incredible amount of learning to do, but being back at 1200 is a milestone for me. :]
