Yeah, the 21 game swiss blitz was better UNLESS they're gonna have at least 8+ game matches for the top 8, but no less than 6 games.
10 games would be perfect but they likely thought that took too long.

This is one of the Top class chess tournament and all youngsters will be motivated and great opportunity for watching all the games by live thanks for FIDE and US Federation
My top 5 players:
Magnus Carlsen: 1st...many probably know he is one of the best players of all time
Hikaru Nakamura: 2nd...really I don`t know, he`s really good here on chess.com in blitz...but he`s close with Fabi.
Fabiano: 3rd...after a bad result against Eric Rosen though, anything could happen.
Ian: 4th...really close with Arjun, but he`s much faster, and he played recently a similar time control
Arjun: 5th...world number 4 right now in classical.
This is what I would hope would happen.
Best of luck to Eric Rosen too!
Best blitz players in the world ON AVERAGE.
1. Magnus Carlsen
2. Hikaru Nakamura
3. Alireza Firouzja
In that order.
