To contact members of your own group, you have all of the other mechanisms available (e.g. group forums, notes). To people outside the group, receiving an unsolicited invitation from a stranger will generally seem like spam. Increasing the number of admins within the group will enable the group to send out more, in any case.

But it's 30 invites per group not 30 invites, per user, so I could manage 3 groups and invite 30 people onto each group each day? total 90?

As you seem to have already discovered, it's 30 per admin per day.

So being admin in more than one group dilutes your ability to send invitations.
