thats crazy, is it even possible to cheat TT with a program? i mean, youd have to set the position up so fast. I very much doubt its legit thoug.
900 in blitz with 3500 tactics isnt possible, hes manuevering/positional play would actually have to be o the retard caliber. or maybe he just did so many TT he knows the patterns so well that he just gets them, ater all he does have a lot o attempts.
3500 Tactics but 1500 Chess!?

Or it could be that tactics is the only thing he study for improvement. Studying endgames and positional plays are very important as well.

but people literaly just leave pieces sitting around at 900 level, with good tactics heshould mop up. I would say he doesnt know how to checkmate, but 90% of TT puzzles are checkmates/checkmate threats. It is rediculous

I'm a bit confused..
Can someone explain how (http://www.chess.com/members/view/bronnie#games)could score 3500 rating on the tactics trainer but has failed more than he passed? Also having done 78,000 tactical puzzels in 3 years which is roughly 500 puzzles a week, only has a rating of 1500 and 912 in bl;itz. Surely someone of that tactial strength would be stronger :)
He obviously uses a computer in Tactics Trainer.
As simple as that. And he did not use one before 2009. (he had a 700 rating in that time)

His 912 blitz rating is based on just one game so it can be ignored. It might also be that his online rating of 1500 was obtained before he improved at tactics trainer. Best to give the benefit of the doubt until proven otherwise.

I believe that Fear Itself has a valid point. TT is timed. How could he set the position so quickly on a computer. Personally, I prefer Chess Tempo to TT because there the tactical problem is not timed. I am just not strong enough a player to get a tactics problem at a glance.

People here can't be that naive to suggest this is normal and he just needs to work on his 'positional play' or something

If you look at his full stats, you will notice that he hasn't played bullet or blitz in many years. Those ratings are very outdated. He does play turn-based chess sometimes, and there he's 1500+ and improving, and also probably underrated because he hasn't played enough to rise to his real rating. It looks like he only does tactics trainer because he does not have time for anything more time consuming. He says he does chess.com during short breaks at work.

Maybe he doesn't recognise any theme in his own game. In TT there is a 100% possibility of tactics but in real game tactics can arose at any time.

There are some puzzles wherein even you failed the problem, you'll still be given a points. Maybe chess.com is generous for him on giving chess ratings up

He is only 1500 in Online chess because he doesn't focus on playing in it. He only had a hundreds of games on it, and it is obvious that it is low.
I just wondering, I have seen a chess.com member who has a rating of 2000+ who's only have 14 games wins???

Do your three question marks there indicate a question or a terrible blunder? If the former, what's your question? Your preceding words form a statement in the indicative, not the rogative. If you're wondering if you really did see it, well, it sounds quite commonplace, given that the site uses the Glicko RD system (q.v.).

People have cheated at the TT, and, indeed, people have cheated at just about everything on the site, including one minute bullet chess. Amazing the hoops through which computers can be made to jump. However, if you want to discuss that in more depth, the "Cheating Forum" group is the "kitchen junk drawer" for all such discussions.

Wow, looks like somebody else has taken over KHuang's mantle!
I also noticed that bronnie seems given to sending himself messages on a regular basis...

Yo everyone. There are self-written "bot" programmes out there that can "set up" within nanoseconds (processor time) any position on the "tactics trainer" or the "live chess" application and feed it into a chess engine. You can even programme one of these "bots" to play an entire game for you if you want, while you sit back on your chair and watch.
