4 chess games in a row been aborted by my opponents. Is it because of the riots in the UK?

I've just had 4 chess games in a row aborted by my  international opponents. I'd say this usually happens in about 1 in 15 games so this is too much of a coincidence. Is there a protest going on on chess.com against British people for the riots that happened yesterday? I do kind of get it. I live in Hull and had to walk past the start of the riots to get to a festival yesterday and it made me feel sick to see people throwing bricks at the police.
