Bn9

@McGoohan, Bn9 is not a legal move.

The witch has also the movement of a knight, so the bishop (p7) can move directly through the pawn (o8) and thus come to n9. Or am I wrong and misunderstood the rules for the witch?

Avatar of Martin0

The witch has the movement of a knight, yes, but it only gives transparency to pieces adjacent to it. Adjacent = king movement away from it. So your o9, o10 and o11 pawns are transparent to your pieces, but not the o8 pawn.

Thank you for the explanation. Now I get it. (I was afraid about yellow Qxo10, but that is not possible.)
