5 “Brilliant” Moves in a Row on Depth 30 Max Analysis?

In a completely Bizarre post game analysis I received what looks like the best and worst game review I’ve ever played combined into one.

Due to how crazy this looked I did the “Game Review” multiple times:

• Regular 26 Depth Review
• Max 30 Depth Review
• Review of ONLY those moves without the rest of game
• Tried on both Safari & Google Chrome

*The regular 26 Depth lists move 18. gxh4 as “Good” and “Max” lists it as well as the other as “Brilliant”

Quick backstory:

I’m terrible at speed chess so I picked a MUCH lower rated bot than normal to play a quick casual game.

I was playing White vs CPU that started out in the French. I purposely played some really strange lines to make things interesting, countering a timid opening with aggressive pawn advances that locked all of their pieces up. The engine hated almost everything I played giving me the worst accuracy ever. It was pretty harsh assigning blunders for not developing a piece or making a trade. I didn’t hang any pieces or miss capturing any of my opponents.

“Brilliant” Moves

1. Qf4 (At depth 30 is 4th from the top and almost 2.5 points less than top pick)
2. gxh4 (The regular 26 depth Game Review rated it as “Good” and depth 30 Max rated it “Brilliant”)(When analyzed at depth 36 it’s not in any of the top 5 moves)
3. Nh7 (Engine doesn’t find this move until depth of 29, rating it equal with the top move)
4. Rg1
5. Rxg7
