5 Things You Didn't Know...

Welcome to 5 Things You Didn't Know About Me. I'm @WSama the familiar stranger, and without further ado, let's get straight to it:

Uno - While others enjoy coin tricks - rolling that ancient bread money on their knuckles (don't pick them off the eyes of the dead!) - I play with a rook instead, and occasionally a poker chip. I roll it, catch it, throw it, and I even make it disappear down my sleeves if I'm feeling up to it.

The Giant Deuce - I play blindfold chess. It's really no idiom when I say I can beat you with both eyes closed and both hands behind my back. If you're keen on learning some blindfold tricks, follow my profile and maybe I'll blog about it.

Three of a Kind - I have solved +6000 tactics on this site alone. I've pronounced zukzwang so many times my German soubriquet is zwang. Honestly, China has been calling me out on that one.

Can't Aforth to Lose - I think chess is the coolest game around, just for having names like windmills and x-ray's.

Five Time Champion - I'm not about to pinch a nerve trying the old spinaroonie, but online chess has given patzers like myself the chance to win tournaments. I used to love 15|10 Swiss tourneys, and I have the gold to prove it.

5.5 - When my opponent tries to win on time and I deliver mate with only a second left on the clock:

Can you do the most tactics of all on this site

WSama

Mi_Amigo! I'm not sure if I've done the most tactics - doubt it - but it's still some mean commitment to chess.

The thing about tactics is that they are fun to do. Also, they pretty much encompass everything you need to learn to improve in chess.
