Yes, it is but we are not discussing an ongoing game.
he has been offered 8 draws after the game finished??? :-)

Reb, I doubt that you are from portugal, with that USA-NM tag round your neck, and picking on rich. Have you bothered to check rich's age? He is an intelligent person. A thousand times more intelligent than silly people who wear 'NM' or 'Ph.D.-in-applied-math-(notoriously,it-is-always-in-n-dimensional-fluid-mechanics)' tags around their neck.
'NN' playes better chess than 'NM'. And is much more intelligent.

Wow ! Where to start with this? First, I have never claimed to be from Portugal but I now live in Portugal and am from the USA where I earned the NM title in 1984. If you had bothered to read my profile you could have seen this for yourself. Rich is 16 ( I do often read peoples profiles before I start talking about them, unlike some it seems.) according to his profile and for the life of me I dont know what his age has to do with it? Maybe you can explain? I also have never said he is not intelligent but I am simply pointing out that I think he is being hypocritical to accuse someone else of "having no honor" when in fact what he did in one of his games indicates the same thing. As for wearing an NM tag around my neck I dont know where that comes from. This IS a chess server and titled players get that "tag". I dont wear a superman type costume with NM emblazoned across my chest or anything like that, if thats what you think. Why you ambush me like that I dont know, do you? If so, please tell me. I think Rich is perfectly capable of defending himself and he has been doing so but apparently you think he needs your help. What is your beef with me anyway?
This thread is really down the rabbit trail . . LOL . . . .
I'll update the thread when the game finishes.
Hence, the game is still in motion!
Yea still going, slowly now. I have had about 20 more draw offers.
Lol. Who is doing it.
Not a problem. It's just stretching out the inevitable. Even if it's a bit annoying.
If it's not a problem (and I don't see how it can be, just ignore him & keep playing), then why did you feel it nessacery to post a whiny thread about it? I have to search through droves of these wastes of space in order to get to some good forums. And even if he isn't the best sport, it's not very nice to post his name aswell. If you felt strongly about something he was doing wrong you should have contacted a member of staff, but as he is breaking no rules there is no issue. So the only reason I see for this is another attempt by a user to give another user a bad name. Even if he is acting in an unsportsmanlike way, what's the point?
I see your point but you missed mine. I did not post to whine about it, but to find out if this was against the rules or anything like that on chess.com. I have the answer. To your point, I removed the post I made with his name in it. But it's also in your post which I can't edit . .

I find that hard to believe. If you really just wanted to know whether it's against the rules the best thing to do would have been to just contact a staff member. But anyway i'll give you the benefit of the doubt.
Good point, I didn't think of that one, I'll delete or edit my other post also with his name in.
And now who ever asked 8 draws, now can claim a draw due to this topic!
