Wanted some of the players from chess.com's thoughts about this game. I think that by me having an extra pawn for about the whole game kind of affected how black played. Also the knight was VERY useful near the end. Any moves that you think could have been played or some bad moves that were played.

I forgot to mention that near the end of the game when black played

47. ... Kxe4 ?? there was only about 1 min left for the both of us so that could have caused black to have played that.

black doesnt want to lose the bishop thats what i think because of:

43. Nc5+ Rxc5

44. Rb6+ Ke5

45. Rxa5 Kxe4

if that would have happened then a draw was sure to happen

White's king was inactive in the endgame until move 45! In the endgame the King can often be worth 4 points because of its fighting value.  Get your pawns on the opposite color of your opponents bishop.( makes less targets)

2B Expository Essay

Due to sports programs in school many students are able to do something after school which they like, but the school has to keep up with the payments that happen because of the programs. With schools already having to pay large amounts of money per year some just are not able to keep up with the payments and the cost of running after school programs and so decide to cancel the programs once and for all. The way that the economy is going some schools think that by cutting these unnecessary sports programs and focusing more on academic learning they are helping more students. Although, students in school also like to play sports such as football, soccer, and even basketball and would be shocked if these activities were to be removed from their school's cirruculum. Finally, schools cancelling their sports programs would be appalling to some students, but at the same time help out schools that need money.

To begin with, schools use a significant amount of money on sports programs during the school year and have to pay for a lot of stuff. For example, the equipment that the players have to use for their games cost money and having to keep the fields clean and nice also costs money. By not having to worry about sports schools can put their money toward other things that they need like lunch food, better classroom equipment, and maybe even field trips. Also, the money spending never seems to stop during the year as there are both winter and spring sports that the school has to worry about. Test scores could improve for the students since they will have more time to study and do homework instead of having to stay after school and practice. To sum it up, schools could benefit greatly if sports were to be stopped because then money would be saves and students could obtain more study time after school.

In contrast, sports help to improve students lives as it gives them something to do rather than be at home and do nothing after they have finished their homework for the day. Some families that played sports would be shocked at schools cancelling these programs since they would want their children to experience as they did. Also, sports could make a school unique because they could be the ones that win the state tournament for football every year, but by stopping them then they could lose their reputation. Talented and skilled players of a sport could be forgotten by college recruiters if the school were to quit sports programs. At games a lot of students come out to support their school and enjoy watching them play their best. In brief, students should be able to have an option of trying out for a certain sport while in school because this helps them experience another side of school.

Therefore, schools that lack an amount of money could use the option of cancelling sports programs at the cost of boring the students and taking away after school activities. The money that could be saved by stopping the sports programs is a lot since the school is responsible for the payment of the equipment and status of the fields. The consequences of it would be that the students could not be able to cheer on for their school team in an event and could never be able to participate in one of them. In conclusion, the decision to cancel all sports programs would be bittersweet as the school could improve in quality and test scores, but also suffer from lack of school spirit and the inabilty to compete with other schools.

Finally, I think schools cancelling their sports programs would be a great idea to help not only students, but schools at the same time.

Test scores could improve for the students since they will have more time to study and do homework instead of having to stay after school and practice. In brief, the saving of money due to sports non-existence could benefit in other ways like better food and or materials for students.

Next, what colleges mainly look at are academic achievements and how well the students’ high school years were which could not be at the highest value because of things that get in the way like sports. Not having sports at school would help improve the test scores and the reputation of a school. Therefore, studying time would be increased and so people could be taught more stuff faster since they would understand the material faster and not be lost when the teacher goes more in depth. Actually, recent statistics show that if given more time students that have work to do would at least try to do it instead of not doing it at all. Finally, if schools focused more on academics and the students’ knowledge of a class quitting sports programs could greatly increase their time of getting to know the material.
