Hm
A general chess discussion thread?
Yeah ig I am really more a positional player rather than attacking player. I rushed way too fast in this game. Fortunately my opponent didn't take profit of my mistakes, and the ending pattern was nice so I decided to share it. Anyone have tips on how to attack without exposing yourself too much ?

About exposing yourself I would try to plan your development around where your kings going (what side your castling, or if you’ll do something else) and develop to keep it safe and not push pawns too far there to prevent them from opening up the king.

I saw what u were tryna do but u should't push pawns around ur king especially when u literally have a monster of a bishop looking at your kingside rook.
If black was a good player he would've sacced the knight with Nxe5 winning ur rook. (this is my analysis so maybe he couldn't have sacced the knight but I'm 98 percent sure he could've).
Flank attacks aren't possible unless the center is locked, otherwise it will be disastrous. Wait until the center is locked without any possible pawn breaks and then counter attack on the flank. That's what Bobby Fischer did and apparently he was a decent player.
I have adjusted my settings, you should be able to challenge me if you want.
Still no...
Does anyone want to play chess in 6 hours ish?

Ok I will miss you ;-;
I'll be back around april 7th or so. I'll try to keep up with my ongoing daily games so I'll still be connected, just way less active in forums and stopping live games.

That's weird...
Have checked, according to my settings anyone can challenge me.
I just played a 10 minute game, put the king in check with my queen, he didn't move or block the check, and the app let him continue?
Yeah just setting up a discovered attack with queen/knight
