Sorry guys but as a beginner, I could not catch the point. Could you please tell me what is going on? Thanks...

Basically two very strong players were playing a game and white was moving his queen around wildly. I don't see the point seeing as it loses tempo... But I could be missing something here.

Not a joke, take a closer look at how white is able to control black.

king stuck in the center. queen & bishop out. It doesn't look that bad actually..

i am thinking the black queen is dead and black will lose easily~~

If played between two players who knew each other REALLY well, and black just shot out his opening without much forethought, then bravo to white for uniquely challenging his opponent. Very unique, but also really bizarre

Wow, well. I really don't know what was happening. I've played like that before when I started playing chess. However, I think white has an atvantage
