A list of all my won positions lost by disconnection + suggestion

I have lost 107 games by desisting (disconnection) and here are the ones where I had a winning position:

And I will stop here but there are more, I stopped because I was probably low rated by the time that the other games were played and some of them might be ashaming, and another reason is because of how slow my connection is and how many pages I have to go through to do that.

Most of the other ones are unclear positions, or positions still in the opening. Now here is my suggestion: If somebody loses connection while engine evaluation is like completely winning, or tablebases for endgames might be more reliable IDK whatever, or if the position is still in equalish theory... let's make it a draw OR, give the opponent the win, but abort the game for the bad connection side. The reason why I am asking this is that this is not allowing me to make rating quick, which I think is unfair that some American (no offense for Americans but just sayin cz I mean OFC their connection is better than some other countries...) are higher rated than me because their connection is stable and they win! Is this not kinda unfair?

lol ok, thank you for making this forum topic trendy though

Please guys what do you think about my suggestoin?

It’s not fair, but there is no alternative. Chess.com can’t be responsible for connections and can’t be in the position of adjusting ratings based on who it thought was winning when a disconnection happened.

Imagine the following scenario. I am winning but I blunder endgames often. Rather than risking an endgame, wouldn’t it be better to have a disconnection and get points? Should your opponent lose points? I mean comeback games happen all the time. People would constantly be trying to cheat the system somehow and there is no way to know who is who.

You have two choices: either find a way to have a more reliable connection or live with the lost games. There is no other option.

Hmm yes you are right Nikki, I didn't think about the: "I am winning but I blunder endgames often. Rather than risking an endgame, wouldn’t it be better to have a disconnection and get points?", unfortunatley there is no way to get a better connection rather than traveling and leaving my beloved country which will probably not happen... I'll have to live with it... sad.png

If you are making fun of my country, well we've gotten our independance from Turkey after 400 years of domination, from France after some 25 years. The Pope said that we are a model country because we have a lot of religions living together. The phenicians are great and I wont tell you all there story as your head will explode.
