A Pawn endgame that is really hard and surprised me!
Blacks obviously not going to take on h4 though is he, it wouldn’t be much of a puzzle in that case.
Pretty sure I’ve seen the position before...
Edit: Just been through it - there’s the odd counterintuitive move but most of the ‘wrong’ moves clearly lose quite quickly so it’s one you can solve fairly easily by process of elimination.
@James, I tried to search forced lines and king oppositions. ( I thought I know a dozen of king opposition patterns but this king opposition move, Ke5 to Kd4 was not expected. It was the only move that save as draw, haha).
And also, from the initial position, two pawns are mobile, so practically I am forced to think three variations simultaneously.
Within 10 mins, I think I searched more than 50 positions.
