Oh, Hello everyone. I'm a bit of a chess fan right now. So far, I've been able to create a scheduel that can dedicate four hours per day on chess, and on Wensdays/Sundays, dedicate a total of 15 hours both days. (Wake up at 5:00 AM, go to bed at 8-9:00ish PM). See, I've been on a bit of a book hunt. I've found so many useless books, and quite a few worthwhile ones. I've finished a few and I have noticed the amount of victories over the people at my high school go from moderate to the best, while here, steadily improving at a nice rate.

So far, I have finished Bobby Fischer teaches chess/First book in the starting out series.(Starting out in chess).

For my scheduel, I have:

Tactics: A Course in Chess Tactics

For strategy, I have Basic fundementals-Capablanca/Logical chess, move by move.

For endgames: How to play chess endgames(Mueler)

For openings,I got a killer chess open. Ret

Middle game: I got no specific book.

I've alloted by time to study certain things per day's. Such as Monday, Tactics/Openings, Etc. Different each day, repeats. What I am curious about is that the books I am reading, good enough? I have some trouble reading a course in Chess tactics and got 3 of the puzzles on the first chapter right on my first try, the other 3 wrong.

I purchased Pachman's complete chess strategy set, all three volumes. Sadly, It's not Chess Algebraic, and I can barely understand it!.

Book's I'm reading good enough for me? I want to reach about 1500-1600 within a year. Been playing chess for about two month's now and well. Am I on the right track?

The best book for you would be Lazlo Polgar's book:

Chess: 5334 Problems, Combinations, and Games (Hardcover)

I saw this book on Amazon for only $2.00 used.

That the only book I need?

Pawn Power in Chess (Kmoch) and Pawn Structure Chess (Soltis) are both pretty good books.

Eh. I can't get a USCF at the moment.

Right now, a club. I play 5-10 times a day, + the many games here.
