Hello all, i hope you enjoy chess like i seem to; i will not say it makes my blood tingle but i think i get huge benifits from the game of chess.
I run different types of tournaments and especially 8 player tourneys so i have the chance of being a top 3 player and winning a trophy and tourney points. But i notice some people seem to 'take advantage' of my 200 point ratings tourneys to win trophies and points for themselves.
I just think if i go to the trouble of organising and creating small tournaments in the hope of winning a trophy then it might be considered 'uncaring' if players do not "throw" a game or two my way to increase my score and my chances of winning a tournament place and some tourney points.
So remember it is more important to improve your overall chess development by good chess experiences than to simply win games, focus on making yourself a better overall chess player rather than going for wins. In fact a good place to practice your technique is in games against me in my tournaments instead of going for "the win" every time.
:) j/k...
