It doesn't look like you cheated in anyways, so it is confusing why your account was closed. I'm sure the chess.com team has their reasons for closing your account. look at the fair play policy https://www.chess.com/legal/fair-play it is possible that you allowed someone to play your account, or you analyzed during the game. idk. i'm assuming you are making this post because you checked these fair play rules already and you know you are innocent.
Account Closed for Fair Play - Never Cheated
Dude I absolutely am stunned/shocked and am fuming. I'm so mad. I did not let anyone else play on my account. I didn't even know you could have analysis open during games so I definitely didn't do that. I have NO idea man.

What you should do is confess what you’ve done to them and then you can keep this account, otherwise it’s going to be closed as soon as the mods see this post.
Caedrel, I'm not sure what I have to do to convince you to believe me, but I have never cheated. There is nothing to confess. I don't know why someone would spend time complaining on a chess forum if they were caught for doing something they actually did wrong, but I did nothing. I am looking for support or any sort of reasoning as to why this has happened. I don't understand.

i mean i switch in and out of the tab because im chatting on discord or twitch, and im sometimes playing some music.
I was responding to "Chess_Player_lol" when he said "or you analyzed during the game."
Is that something you can even do? I analyze my games AFTER my games. I never have any analysis or engine open during my game, of my game, any of that. I don't know what you want from me.

Exactly ^
I switch out of my tab for other things but never for chess engine or analysis.

Look at my games and tell me what moves ever match an engine. I'm like 50-70% move accuracy. I don't get it.

Occasionally using an engine to check moves while keeping your overall accuracy down to avoid suspicion is harder to detect, true - but not impossible given a large enough sample size. Looks like @ryfra has been doing the “doing other things during games” thing as well, but they haven’t been banned for fair play. Interesting, no?
I just got banned for "Fair Play" violations. I have never cheated in my life at chess. My account name was "cassidydunsmore." I recently subscribed to chess.com for their membership, have been doing puzzles, etc. I have not climbed much (maybe 50-100 elo rating? over the past month), but I have recently decided to switch from blitz games (5+0) to rapids (10+0). I have no other accounts on chess.com
I have NO idea why I was banned. I even appealed and they DENIED it. What on earth is happening? Please help.
