Accused of cheating by opponent

I wish someone would accuse me of cheating. That would really make me feel a lot better about my chess skills.

your opponent is just a bad loser. he should focus his energy on becoming better. nearly all his moves was bad. moving the queen 3x times early in the game is a sure path to losing.

I've been accused on cheating when my best rating in all of the categories was less than 1400. So I wouldn't take cheating accusations too seriously as a compliment about my skill.

I don't see why any average player would enjoy cheating with a computer. Would be tiring a demoralizing not knowing why you were doing something.

You may not be understanding the mindset of a cheater.

Their goal is to make themselves feel better. The 'how' is not important, only the feeling of thinking the other person feels 'less' in some way.

Not really any different than someone who has to always criticize others to make themselves 'feel better'. They are not actually feeling better, they just feel that the target of their criticism feels lesser.

That's how internet chess is.  I've been accused of cheating so many times I've lost count.  Usually goes like this:

1)"D00D ur blitz ratingz is so low compared to your online, u must be cheaterz"

2)"I have closed so many more accounts that are not as suspicious as yours, you will be closed soon engine user zomg"

3)"Cheater confirmed. Your account will be closed soon."

4)*Loses game*  

I think most people on here do not cheat, just that some people can't take losing. I did play a couple of games where I thought the other person was maybe cheating, they made some mistakes at the start of the game and then for the next 20-25 moves in a roll, they were Bobbie Fisher-even more so when you looked at their rating level. I however do not think most people on here cheat.

YEs. You're not allowed to take advantage of your opponents lame-ass moves.

Lol yeah some 1530 who I beat 2-1 accused me of being a sandbagger when my rating was 1140. Of course, how could I be a sandbagger If I'm playing an opponent 400 pts. higher rated than myself? I actually have a recording of it. It made me feel gooood.
