Achieving the NM title

WAT IS THE LOWEST RATING IN CHESS? A CLASS RATING?

 J, I believe. That's as low as you can go.

The Class system is a USCF concept. Class J is shown as 100-200 here  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elo_rating_system

The lowest FIDE rating is 1200.  http://www.fide.com/component/content/article/1-fide-news/4059-changes-to-title-and-rating-regulations-effective-from-july-1st-2009

Its ridiculous to have such low ratings imo. You should be listed as unrated until you have at least a 1200 rating I believe. FIDE used to only publish ratings of 2000 or better.

Wow what a thread. I'm 25 years old rn and I read this like damn this guy is only 14. But it's been 11, nearly 12, years and you're actually my age if not older than me now. Theres other people in this thread who back when they wrote here they wrote 13/14/15 around that age all dreaming to be NM/IM/GMs. I ask you... guys... how is it going? So much must have happened. So much must have changed. Life. Did you achieve your goals or quit? Where are you now? The future wants to know 🙏

The OP is a pretty solid player, but not yet an NM.

The name he gives on his profile does not exist in the USCF database. You cannot become an NM without OTB.
